Much like a real control, the mini drone by UDI features control of the quad by steady hand movements and a joystick, an unusual combination producing more control and fun. Standard movements of forward/backward, left/right, ascend/descend, and hover motions are controlled by making non-jerky movements with the 2.4 GHz 4-channel sensor in your hand. However, left/right rotation and throttle are controlled by the stick in the same sensor transmitter. The U830 quadcopter remains stable with its onboard 6-axis gyro; but, if you want to do 360-degree spins on demand, just click the small button on the sensor. A gravity sensor helps slow down the craft when descending. Three AAA batteries for the transmitter are all that is required to make this mini quad RTF (ready to fly). Be sure to check out knowbeforeyoufly.org for safety rules and FCC regulations if applicable.
